As part of the official Exhibitor Innovation Stage programme, OceanWings will present one of its latest commercial projects: the retrofit of the bulk carrier Maria Topic. Maria Topic is the first Ultramax bulk carrier to be equipped with OceanWings' rigid, tiltable wingsail technology.
This 10-minute presentation will highlight practical lessons learned from the engineering, installation, and execution of the project, demonstrating how wind-assisted propulsion is becoming an increasingly scalable solution for commercial shipping.
WHISPER Spotlight Sessions at the Lloyd's Register Booth
As part of the WHISPER project, OceanWings will also participate in two WHISPER Spotlight Sessions hosted at the Lloyd's Register booth.
These presentations are currently expected to take place on Thursday, 3 September (schedule to be confirmed) and will provide additional insights into the project's progress and the role of wind propulsion in maritime decarbonization.
