The Wind Turbine Industry was the first to repurpose an old way to use the wind and to fully reinvent it with modern science and cutting-edge hardware and software technology.
This Industry has scaled massively and today is able to deliver and install, both on land and sea, tens of thousands of bigger and bigger wind turbines generating an increasingly large number of Megawatts per Wind Turbine.

The vertical elements of the Rigid OceanWings are designed and manufactured with the same principles and the same process as Wind Turbine Blades, in fact our suppliers are Wind Turbine Blade manufacturers in Europe and in Asia.
The actuators used to orient the vertical elements are also very similar.

Just like large Wind Turbines, the Rigid versions (OW RF, OW RT) of the OceanWings are designed in a modular fashion, in such a way that they can be delivered as separate components directly at any Shipyard and assembled directly on the vessel.
